Questa terra non è fatta di lavanda, ulivi, golden hour. Quelli sono i suoi prodotti, la sua merce. Questa terra è fatta di silenzio: il peso dell'aria sotto un cipresso alle tre del pomeriggio, la qualità acustica di una stanza di pietra. La villa è progettata attorno a questo. Il silenzio come materiale costruttivo, non come effetto.
This land is not made of lavender, olive trees, golden hour. Those are its goods, its merchandise. This land is made of silence: the weight of the air under a cypress at three in the afternoon, the acoustic grain of a stone room. The villa is designed around this. Silence as a building material, not an atmosphere.
